AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Blue Sage Capital (“Blue Sage”) is pleased to announce that All-State Industries, Inc. (“All-State”) acquired substantially all of the assets of dB Engineering, Inc. (“dB Engineering”), a Mansfield, Texas-based manufacturer of thermal, acoustic and vibration isolation components for OEMs throughout North America. Under the leadership of its owner, Mike Gibson, dB Engineering has built a strong expertise in the vibration and insulation arena, and All-State intends to further leverage these capabilities across its end markets and customers.
“We are thrilled to welcome dB Engineering into the All-State family,” said Scott Pulver, CEO of All-State. “This acquisition rounds out our thermal and vibration insulation capabilities and will allow us to better service our existing customer base and expand into new end markets, anchored by the strong customer relationships built by Mike and his team.”
Jonathan Kaskow, Principal at Blue Sage, noted, “dB Engineering fits squarely within the All-State strategy of building out best-in-class nonmetallic capabilities across an increasingly growing set of customers and end markets. We are excited about this acquisition and the growth potential it creates across the platform.”
Blue Sage partnered with All-State and the Pulver Family in 2019 and has completed three add-on acquisitions in the past two years. “We pride ourselves in building long-term value in our portfolio companies, and the acquisition of dB Engineering further strengthens All-State’s product offering and unique level of scale within its specialized markets,” said Peter Huff, Managing Member at Blue Sage.
All-State is continuing to seek add-on acquisitions targets within the nonmetallic industry.
